Core Responsibilities

• Oversees deployment, management and third-parties for on-premise and cloud based server, storage, and virtual desktop technologies and services
• Works closely with IT engineers, cyber teams, application support and vendors to ensure timely and defect-free delivery of system run operations and project activities
• Manages medium to large infrastructure initiatives including resources, scope, budget (costs), and project schedules
• Guides, provides, and mentors data center engineering support teams (server storage operations) in the daily operations of on-premise and cloud systems
• Develops practical recommendations to improve operational efficiency and automate technical capabilities
• Reviews and approves design packages and delivery schedules
• Stays abreast of changes in the infrastructure environment and related costs
• Assesses the impact of vendor vulnerability announcements and works with suppliers and business partners to mitigate risks
• Flexible and able to work off-hours to support deployments, resolve production problems or respond to corporate emergencies
• Performs other related tasks and assignments as required

Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering and Minimum of (5) years of IT experience or
• Associate's Degree Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering and Minimum of (7) years of IT experience or
• High School Diploma/GED and Minimum of (10) years of IT experience preferably in Information Technology

Relevant Work Experience

• Working knowledge supporting infrastructure operations, administration and maintenance of cloud and on-premise systems as well as guiding business continuity and disaster recovery exercises Required
• Technical and operational understanding of platforms and systems including Oracle, SQL, Nutanix, Cohesity, Citrix, Azure, Windows, and virtualization technologies Required
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex system issues and outages as well as conducting root cause analysis Required
• Developing policies and procedures, runbooks, and RFPs Required
• Knowledge of cyber security principles and application to operations Required
• Use of systems automation tools and scripting Required
• Providing thought leadership on technology initiatives to achieve business objectives Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Driver's License Required
• Other: Desired ITIL, Azure, AWS, Project Manager Professional (PMP) Preferred

Physical Demands

• Must push, pull, lift up to 40 pounds
• Must sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for entire shift
• Must have excellent manual dexterity and be able to use hands for entire shift
• Must stoop, bend, reach and kneel throughout the workday
• Must be able to read small print and symbols.

Other Physical Demands

• Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as a hard hat, gloves, and safety shoes when required
