Core Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the EH&S Leadership team to create a conduit for process improvements and implementing best practices across the EH&S departments and other organizations.
  • Develop and/or modify processes to promote environmental, health and safety compliance while maintaining a cost conscience mindset.
  • Develop strategies to ensure procedural adherence across all organizations.
  • Develops long and short-term programs geared towards the achievement of customer excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with the EH&S Leadership Team and others to develop company-wide programs.
  • Oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of the organizations application portfolio and ensures they meet all Sarbanes-Oxley and Computer Security requirements.
  • Evaluates the assessments of key aspects of operations that have potential to create environmental, health and safety vulnerabilities for the corporation and coordinates the identification of projects and programs that assist in mitigating those risks.
  • Work with the EH&S leadership team to design, develop, and implement analytical models, algorithms and data visualizations to drive and support key business decisions for Safety and Environment areas.
  • Work with the EH&S leadership team to set governance and appropriate protocols for information systems data quality standards (e.g. SHIMS) to manage applicable EH&S data.
  • Promote a culture that supports high standards, ethical behavior and open communication in all environmental, health and safety activities and follow up to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

  • Work with EH&s Leadership team to develop team goals and performance standards aligned with the Department's, Organization's and company's objectives. Continually tracks and measures these goals and performance standards and provides periodic status reports.
  • Perform other related assignments as directed by Director or VP.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years related work experience or
  • Master's Degree and 6 years related work experience

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Office Management, Engineering, Project Management or other related field (preferred) and 8 years related work experience
  • Master's Degree Business, Office Management, Engineering, Project Management or other related field (preferred) and 6 years related work experience

Relevant Work Experience

  • 3-5 years Managerial/supervisory experience Required
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Projects, etc.) Required
  • 3-5 years Office management; business management; project management, contract administration, training program implementation or related work experience Required
  • Demonstrated team building experience Preferred
  • 3-5 years Experience mining and analyzing data sources Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Driver's License Required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
