Core Responsibilities

  • Specialist:
  • Responsible for managing the analysis of process and impact evaluations and/or quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities of energy efficiency, demand response and other demand management programs.
  • Responsible for project management of evaluation and/or QA/QC consultants, including schedules and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with Evaluation, Measurement and Verification (EM&V), Strategy & Planning and Program Implementation to ensure timely feedback, including planning for EM&V committee.
  • Assist program teams with strategies to incorporate evaluation, QA/QC, and internal analytical methods and associated findings.
  • Assist with vendor management, including invoicing, tracking and analysis of vendor contracts and providing inputs to Request for Proposals and vendor reporting requirements, associated tracking methods.
  • Prepare presentations/reports and participate in meetings with stakeholders and Department of Public Service staff in a supporting role.
  • Assist with the support of company representatives on various committees and stakeholder forums on topic areas such as statewide low-and-moderate income (LMI) energy efficiency programming and beneficial electrification initiatives.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
  • Contributes to the success of the group and department by creating and supporting best practices for department policies and procedures.
  • Support all Company Emergency Response initiatives as required.
  • Sr. Specialist:

  • Advise peers in effective evaluation and/or QAQC project management, including statistical research methods.
  • Apply innovative analytical methods to help further internal use of EM&V and QA/QC results.
  • Assist with vendor management, including invoicing, tracking and analysis of vendor contracts and providing inputs to Request for Proposals and vendor reporting requirements, associated tracking methods.
  • Prepare presentations/reports and lead meetings with stakeholders and Department of Public Service staff.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering, mathematics, computer science, data science, statistics, economics, accounting, sustainability studies or related degree. And 2 Years work experience Specialist (1H) Or
  • Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering, mathematics, computer science, data science, statistics, economics, accounting, sustainability studies or related degree. And 4 Years work experience Sr. Specialist (2L)

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Master's Degree in architecture, engineering, mathematics, computer science, data science, statistics, sustainability studies or related degree

Required Work Experience

  • A minimum of two or more years of related work experience is required of the Specialist position. A minimum of four or more years of related work experience is required of the Senior Specialist position. Required
  • Must have either academic knowledge and/or professional experience with data analysis and/or survey research and demonstrated ability to apply these skills to complex interactive problems. Required
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to both technical peers and non-technical audiences. Required
  • Must demonstrate a high regard for personal accountability and the importance of delivering innovative products and services to customers in a fast paced, fluid environment. Required
  • Excellent analytical, oral, and written and presentation skills. Required
  • Must be highly motivated with a demonstrated ability to work alone and/or in teams; be well organized, detail oriented, flexible in handling multiple assignments and able to meet deadlines; and make sound decisions using traditional and creative solutions. Required
  • Familiarity with Demand Side Management or Energy Efficiency Programs. Preferred
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization software (e.g. R, SAS/Strata, Tableau). Preferred
  • Familiarity with Customer Resource Management tools such as Salesforce. Pref

Licenses & Certifications

  • Driver's License Required

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
  • Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory and to regulatory authorities, as needed. Required
