Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead teams to develop actionable multi-year new business cases and business strategies.
  • Quantify and assess new earnings opportunities under a variety of portfolio performance scenarios.
  • Manage team to provide targeted problem solving and strategic support across EE&DRP businesses as needed.
  • Interface with other parts of Department and Company (Energy Services, Gas, etc.) to achieve other shareholder incentives and deliver on other Company goals as needed.
  • Synthesize recommendations and present to executives
  • Provide analysis and support representing Company's interest to external stakeholders such as the New York State Department of Public Service Staff and other stakeholders.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • Master's Degree And 6 years relevant work experience Or
  • Bachelor's Degree And 8 years relevant work experience

Required Work Experience

  • Experience in clean energy transition, such as electrification, energy efficiency, electric vehicles, or other distributed energy resources Utility experience here is a plus. Required
  • Demonstrated success leading business or corporate strategy development. Required
  • Demonstrated leadership on diverse, cross-Departmental teams. Required
  • Experience crafting and presenting recommendations to senior executives. Required
  • Experience with financial analysis. Familiarity with utility financials a plus. Required
  • Flexibility dealing with ambiguity and comfort working in a dynamic environment. Required
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to drive results by collaborating with stakeholders to build consensus. Required
  • Strong writing and oral communications skills. Required
  • Demonstrated creativity and problem solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Req

  • Driver's License Required

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
  • Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
