Core Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business, building relationships and providing ongoing support on OD change management and development initiatives.
  • Research and leverage industry trends, benchmarks and best practices; providing guidance when difficult decisions are required.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for organizational effectiveness and leader/employee development by effectively collaborating with business lines and senior leaders to achieve goals.
  • Work with all levels of leadership/management/union personnel to communicate organizational development initiatives, training and opportunities.
  • Partner with client organizations and leaders to identify, plan and implement customized interventions to accomplish strategic outcomes and optimize workplace performance.
  • Plan, develop content, and facilitate workshops, leadership offsites, and teambuilding sessions. Effectively facilitate sessions, ensuring achievement of desired outcomes and following up with consultative recap and recommendations for future actions.
  • Use appropriate resources, assessments and tools to diagnose organizational effectiveness, make recommendations and implement interventions, including focus groups, conflict resolution, team building, etc.
  • Engage best practices in managing executive development programs, including but not limited to executive coaching, executive mentorship, and executive sponsorship initiatives. Maintain awareness of industry-related best practices. Identify and share opportunities for continuous improvement of Organizational Development programs, processes, and practices.
  • Identify key drivers, issues and trends based on customer requests, discussions, and information surfaced in workshops. Partner with organizational development team to diagnose and discuss potential opportunities/solutions to address employee, leader, and company development needs and enhance the competence of our workforce.
  • Act as a change agent for special project and initiatives, planning and implementing strategic solutions that support leadership and organizational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate ability to influence and lead through conflict situations and complex issues with executive presence and composure.
  • Design, develop, implement and/or manage high-level leadership programs and projects.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to assist employees in preparation for possible career advancement.
  • Collaborate with organizational development team and line organizations to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Adapt to changing demands as defined by business and operational needs.
  • Provide updates, progress reports, and status reports on projects and areas of responsibility.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED And 7 years demonstrated experience in project management, organizational development, leadership development, performance management, consulting, conflict management, coaching and/or related area.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Master's Degree in related field of study And 2 years demonstrated experience in project management, organizational development, leadership development, performance management, consulting, conflict management, coaching and/or related area.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study And 3 years demonstrated experience in organizational development, culture change, leadership development, performance management, consulting, conflict resolution, coaching, and/or related work area
  • Associate's Degree in related field of study And 5 years demonstrated experience in organizational development, culture change, leadership development, performance management, consulting, executive coaching, and/or related work area

Required Work Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in managing and implementing high-level and high-visibility projects/programs, including project planning, budgeting, resource management, evaluation and reporting. Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or consulting role, providing guidance, feedback and continuous coaching. Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in leadership training delivery and facilitation. Preferred
  • 3+ years in facilitating group development and teambuilding interventions. Preferred
  • 3+ years providing professional and leadership coaching at various levels. Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, training, and facilitation of behavioral programs/workshops. Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in diagnosing, customizing and implementing strategic solutions for leaders and teams to drive organizational effectiveness and enhance culture. Pref
